Ten cuidado! aqui ahi viene el lobo! Fresh Afro-Latin rhythms from YANGA’s debut single on Sonorama Discos.  Based in sun-kissed San Bernardino, California,  Yanga draws inspiration from Colombia’s rich folclor y ritmos, all while creating new original compositions that seek to expand it’s rhythmic vocabulary via the dance floor.

‘El Lobo’ is a Chalupa rhythm, an upbeat cumbia variant, that rides on an exciting wave of tambores y ritmo alegre. While the chorus warns of the impending peligro, the accordion cautiously enhances a dramatic rhythmic pursuit of el lobo as it seeks it’s prey on the dancer. On the flip, Chico Mann blesses the b-side with a perfect remixed version that adds some nice electro-synth touches and added punch to drop into any club setting.  Recorded and mixed by Eduardo Arenas who has also manned the board for Califas’ own Chicano Batman.

Sonorama Discos is proud to present this unique band and it’s music with a special one of kind 7″ inch single release. Each disc is housed in a hand-screened 2 color heavy weight kraft board jacket. Limited to 500 copieshand numbered, with 100 red/green variant, get them while they last.
