“Logos” is the lead single from our forthcoming & first full length LP on International Anthem Recording Co. This galluping, heavy psychedelic Afro-Latin track was for-the-most-part recorded in the gallery of International Anthem’s Southside Chicago HQ, Co-Prosperity Sphere. But the track also features the horn section of legendary Afro-beat revivalists Antibalas (arranged by International Anthem’s Nick Mazzarella), recorded when they were in Chicago to play at Thalia Hall. To make it happen we organized a quick 2-hour pop-up session across the street from the venue at 606 Records, and dubbed the horns between Antibalas’s sound check and showtime.-Dos Santos
